Seeing a movie hasn’t been a boring activity with the gang. Through this, you can bond together, learn, know each other more and enjoy. How about making it more different and exciting? Yeah! That’s what I have experienced with my friend. This awesome friend of mine invited me to join him on Pop Up Night Cinema at Circuit Makati. It was an event hosted by the management of Circuit Makati which aims to play movies through a big LED screen on an open field as a celebration for Christmas and new year. Sounds cool! The event began in December 26 until December 30 from 6PM to 12AM.

We went there last December 30 which is the last day. We rode a bus from Shaw Blvd. going to MRT Buendia (bus fare is Php 17.00). From Buendia we took a jeepney ride to PRC for only Php 8.00. From there, another jeepney ride via Pasong Tamo but we alighted to Circuit Makati.

Many people came along with their families, fiends and couples that added more thrill to the event. Grupie here selfie there, so fun!

Thinking about getting hungry while watching nice films? It’s not a problem. There were pop up food stations installed around the field. Food there are cheap yet good, though. There were some street food such as isaw (chicken intestine), pork barbecue, hotdogs and fishballs. If you’re not fond of street food, not a worrisome. There were pastas, pastries, snacks and even Jollibee on the go. Drinks like juice and beer were also made available. We bought some street food and drinks, and ate along with the other people who were enjoying the film on a cold starry night.

Unfortunately, we were not able to start the film being played when we arrived. It has been my desire to see my fave action star Vin Diesel on his latest movie, Fast and Furious 7, but I had no chance to do so. Too lucky that it was the movie played which we started.

This kind of bonding activity is also being done in other country like Spain, Thailand, Singapore and U.S. (I researched hahaha). This was my first time to experience such enjoyable thing and I just wish for part two. More friends to bring!
